Many options for Redundancy |
Standard Protocols |
- RSTP: Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (802.1w)
RSTP reduces STP convergence time (usually 40 seconds to 1 minute) to several seconds.
- MSTP: Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (802.1s)
MSTP realize STP configuration per domain. Convergence time is several seconds. MSTP can load balance the traffic by assigning multiple VLAN groups to a single domain.

Unique Protocol |
- Flush FDB
Apresia supports Flush FDB in order to be aware of L2/L3 redundancy protocols such as AlaxalA GSRP. Flush FDB realize high speed and high reliability at low loads.
- MMRP (Multi Master Ring Protocol)
High-speed redundancy protocol which realizes layer 2 restoration.

Restoration time will be relatively delayed when 1000BASE-T interfaces are used.
