High-reliability Apresia supports numerous high-reliability functions, including the Loop-Free function, the User VLAN Aware function, the broadcast and multicast control, and the MMRP2 ring-topology function. Stacked VLAN Apresia supports hardware-based 4094 stacked VLAN. High-speed "FDB clear", mirroring and bandwidth control are supported per VLAN. EoE (Ethernet over Ethernet) - Next generation Metro Ethernet technology Encapsulation of user MAC addresses with EoE-MAC addresses eliminates the problem of address shortage in the provider's network and prevents layer 2 loop disaster. Bandwidth control Apresia provides maximum rate limiting and minimum bandwidth guarantee from 0.5 Mbps in 0.5 Mbps increments. Egress rate shaping per VPN through uplink ports, and rate limiting of broadcast and multicast frames are also configurable. SD card slot Configuration information can be stored in an SD memory card, which can be easily replaced in the event of failure. It improves the maintenance usability.
